Carpet and Texture
One of the most important industries in Iran is weaving carpet that is made up of small pieces of fibers that are from worn, fur, wool and silk, and thrown alongside parallel warps of cotton, wool or silk. The motifs used in the carpet are Slalomi, Khatei and geometric patterns. Among the designs that are commonplace in Iranian carpets are Tree, Kheshti, Garden, Flowering, Tangled Fish, Meharibi, Maharat, Iliati, consolidated, potted.
Qashqai Rug, Fars, Chardange Sarehad
it is a blanket which is found in the southern and central parts of the country and more in Qashqai area. Its texture is similar to that of carpet, and the difference is in thin plies, the fewer knots per unit, longer the lace, its color and its different dimensions than the carpet. Most Gabbeh are woven mentally. Nowadays, Gabbeh is very much appreciated for its simple designs, colors and adaptation to the tastes of today's people.

Killim and Jadjim Jadjimis a tissue of Alvan wool, the width of which is usually about 20 to 35 cm. Sometimes cotton is used for its thin weft. Jajim has the most traditional method of knitting and its texture must be elegant and accurate. The drawings used in Jajim are striped designs, diamonds, and Alwan. Felt is a blanket that is produced without the use of a Dar. The raw material used in filament, spring sheep wool with long fibers and various colors. Mazandaran, Golestan, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Semnan are the most important centers of production.
