Persian knowledge test for teaching, which is known with its Persian abbreviation DATFA, is an ideal exam for people who want to know their qualifications in specific areas of teaching the language or evaluate their progress. DATFA is designed according to international standards of language education and Cambridge ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) qualifications. It is aimed at assisting teachers to recognize their qualifications, planning to develop their teaching skills, and identifying activities that help them reach their targets.

DATFA has five modules:
1- Language and background to language learning and teaching
2- Lesson planning and use of resources for language teaching
3- Managing the teaching and learning process
4- Young learners
5- Practical (teaching abilities)

Each module consists of a paper lasting 80 minutes, containing 80 questions. DATFA is taken as multiple-choice tests, carrying one mark each. No need to be an established teacher to take the exam. However, you are recommended to have an intermediate level of Persian language.

The DATFA International Teaching Certificate has three levels. If you pass Module 1 (language and background to language learning and teaching) exam, you will receive Level 3 DATFA International Teaching Certificate. You can get Level 2 DATFA International Teaching Certificate by passing Modules 1, 2, and 3. Level 1 DATFA International Teaching Certificate will be given to you when you pass all The five Modules.

The DATFA certificate makes you eligible to teach Persian to non-native learners everywhere in the world.
