The first “Shahnameh Studies in Italy” conference was held at the Vivarium Academy in Frascati, near Rome, coinciding with the unveiling of the complete publication of Ferdowsi’s Shahnameh by LoNi Publishing. The event brought together academics, Iranologists, and scholars of Persian language and literature.
The Cultural Attaché of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Representative of the Saadi Foundation in Bosnia and Herzegovina stated that the Persian language, which for centuries served as the language of science, literature, and thought across a large part of the world, can still act today as a bridge for cultural dialogue and deeper understanding among nations.
Coinciding with the commemoration of the great poet Hakim Abolqasem Ferdowsi and the Persian Language Day, the closing ceremony of the campaign “Persian, Language of Iranian Culture and Civilization” was held at the Academy of Persian Language and Literature, with the presence of professors, students, and enthusiasts of the Persian language.
A meeting titled “Introduction to the Shahnameh and Hakim Ferdowsi” was held in Yerevan through the efforts of the Cultural Counselor of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the representative office of the Saadi Foundation in Armenia. The event brought together a number of Iranologists, professors, students, and Persian language instructors at the library hall of the Blue Mosque in Yerevan.
The Third National Persian Language Olympiad was hosted by the Kazakhstan National University for Girls’ Teacher Training, in collaboration with the Cultural Attaché of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Saadi Foundation’s representative office in Almaty.
