Moscow University Persian Language Professor:
Saadi Foundation Textbooks More Effective in Teaching
According to the Saadi Foundation’s Public Relations Office, Maria Gen, a Persian language professor at the Moscow State Linguistic University, made the remarks during her visit to the Saadi Foundation’s booth at the “Days of Culture of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Russia.” She said: “Although the university has its own recommended textbooks, I have used Gām-e Avval, Vāže, Mina, and Chārchub in my teaching, and I think these books are more successful and effective.”
The Saadi Foundation is participating in the “Days of Culture of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Russia,” presenting a selection of its publications and educational products aimed at teaching and promoting the Persian language.
The “Days of Culture of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Russia” is organized by the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization. The event features 168 Iranian artists working in 30 cultural and artistic fields. It is being held in four cities—St. Petersburg, Moscow, Kazan, and Astrakhan—and includes a variety of cultural and artistic programs as well as specialized meetings.
