The book “Teaching Language Skills: Approaches and Methods” has been written to elucidate the approaches and methods for teaching language skills, with a focus on teaching Persian to non-Persian speakers. In the design and development of this work, the curriculum for teaching Persian to non-Persian speakers has been developed in collaboration with experts from various universities.This book includes the approved syllabi for the courses “Methods of Teaching Persian Language Skills” and “Principles and Theories of Teaching Persian to Non-Persian Speakers” at the master’s level. It presents theoretical discussions on the four main language skills- listening, speaking, reading, and writing-along with linguistic components such as vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, intonation, and accent, using reliable and up-to- date sources. Furthermore, the authors have aimed to comprehensively emphasize the practical aspects of teaching Persian by providing examples  and  practical  exercises alongside the theoretical discussions.
