The first section focused on the place of wisdom and knowledge at the beginning of the Shahnameh. It was emphasized that the Shahnameh is not merely a collection of epic and mythological stories, but a work rich in thought and reflection on wisdom, knowledge and life.

The participants then read selected verses from Ferdowsi’s Shahnameh in Persian. This section provided an opportunity for participants to establish a closer connection with the original Persian text of the epic.

The third section examined the influence of the Shahnameh on contemporary Iran and its enduring place in Persian literature and culture. Participants shared their views and perspectives on the subject.

In the final section, participants took part in an open discussion, raising their questions and sharing their perspectives, while also offering suggestions for future courses. It was also proposed that the materials and experiences from the course be compiled and published in book form.

The participants came from a variety of backgrounds, including university professors, teachers, researchers, students, writers, journalists and cultural activists.
