Persian Language Teacher Training Course Launched in Uzbekistan
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Seyed Ali Mousavizadeh, Deputy for International Affairs at the Saadi Foundation, expressed appreciation for the efforts of Iran’s Cultural Center in Uzbekistan to promote Persian language education. He noted that the program is the result of continuous planning and cooperation between the Cultural Center and the Educational and Research Department of the Saadi Foundation.
Referring to the foundation’s experience in conducting Persian language teacher training programs, Mousavizadeh stated that the course is expected to strengthen academic and educational ties between Persian language instructors in Uzbekistan and the Saadi Foundation while contributing to the improvement of Persian language teaching standards in the country.
He also emphasized that Iran’s cultural centers abroad, including in Uzbekistan, play a significant role not only in carrying out cultural activities but also as official representatives of the Saadi Foundation in supporting and expanding Persian language education.
During the ceremony, Hassan Safarkhani, Cultural Counselor of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Saadi Foundation’s representative in Uzbekistan, highlighted the importance of the program. He explained that the course has been designed to develop Persian language education based on the Saadi Foundation’s educational standards and teaching methodologies.
Safarkhani encouraged participants to attend classes regularly and engage actively with the course content, stressing that the program serves as an important step in the professional development of Persian language instructors in Uzbekistan. He added that participants who complete future advanced courses will have the opportunity to become highly qualified specialists in the field of Persian language teaching.
He also pointed to the growing interest in learning Persian in Uzbekistan and expressed hope that such training programs would enhance educational services and further promote the Persian language throughout the country.
In another part of the event, Ahmad Ramazani, Deputy for Education and Research at the Saadi Foundation, expressed optimism about the future of Persian language education in Uzbekistan. He described the Saadi Foundation as a home for all enthusiasts of the Persian language and welcomed cooperation with educators and professionals in the field.
Ramazani noted that, through coordinated planning and collaboration with Iran’s Cultural Center in Uzbekistan, the foundation hopes to deliver the course at a high standard and contribute to the training of distinguished Persian language teachers in the country.
He also reaffirmed the foundation’s commitment to receiving feedback and continuously improving the quality of its educational programs, emphasizing that the expansion of Persian language education depends on ongoing cooperation, the adoption of modern teaching methods, and close interaction with instructors.
The Persian Language Teacher Training Course consists of 44 hours of specialized instruction, focusing on Persian language skills, linguistic components, and the structure of the Persian language.
