New Persian Language Course Launched at the National Library of Kazakhstan
According to the Public Relations Office of the Saadi Foundation, Salimeh Toktasinova, Director of the Foreign Literature Department at the National Library of Kazakhstan, highlighted the ongoing collaboration between the National Library, the Iran Cultural Center, and the Saadi Foundation’s Almaty branch. She noted that joint scientific and cultural projects in recent years have played a significant role in enhancing Kazakh researchers’ understanding of the shared heritage between the two countries.
Hussein Aghazadeh, Cultural Attaché of the Islamic Republic of Iran and representative of the Saadi Foundation in Kazakhstan, emphasized the importance of the Persian language in Central Asia. He stated that Persian serves as a key to understanding the history and spiritual heritage of the region and, beyond being a means of communication, acts as a bridge connecting the deep cultural and historical roots of Iran and Kazakhstan.
He added that strengthening Persian language education can lay the groundwork for deepening mutual understanding and developing comprehensive relations between the two nations.
The course is being offered at two levels, Beginner and Intermediate, at the National Library of Kazakhstan.
