The 20th Persian Language Course started in Russia
According to the Saadi Foundation’s Public Relations Office, during the opening ceremony, Ms. Zohreh Hamdieh, an expert at the Iranian Cultural Counselor’s Office in Moscow, expressed her delight at the presence of Persian learners and stated that learning the Persian language provides a deeper understanding of Iranian culture.
"At a time when relations between Iran and Russia are at a high level and both nations are determined to strengthen their cooperation, learning Persian can serve as a bridge to bring our people closer. As learners of this language, you can play an important role in this process," she added.
The new course is being held at the Cultural Counselor’s Language Center and includes two beginner groups, one intermediate group, and one advanced group, with a total of 30 students. The program consists of 60 instructional hours and will run for four months.
At the beginner level, Persian is taught using the books “First Step” and “The Joy of Reading (1)” by instructor Anastasia Blokhina.
At the intermediate level, materials include “Mina (1)”, “The Joy of Reading (2)”, and “Persian Vocabulary (1)”.
The advanced class, taught by Amir Khataei, focuses on “Iranology (1)”, “Mina (2)”, and “Persian Vocabulary (2)”.
Persian language classes at the Iranian Cultural Counselor’s Language Center in Moscow have been held continuously for the past nine years and have been well received by Russian audiences.
