Scholarship in Teaching Persian to Speakers of Other Languages
Saadi Foundation, with the aim of training young and talented teachers to teach Persian language in the world, offers a scholarship in the field of Teaching Persian to Speakers of Other Languages (TPSOL) to qualified applicants. Eligible applicants will study for the Master's degree in TPSOL (courses+thesis) for a minimum of two years. Accepted applicants will receive a "Type A" scholarship. This type of scholarship is fully funded by Iran's Ministry of Science, Research and Technology.
General Eligibility Requirements:
1. Possessing a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields from an internationally recognized university:
a. Persian Language and Literature
b. Linguistics
c. Foreign/Second Language Teaching
d. International Relations*
e. Oriental Studies and Iranian Studies
2. Maximum age of 26 years
3. Minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 15 in B.A./B.Sc.
4. Obtaining a minimum score in the Persian Language Proficiency Test
5. Good command of the English language
6. Successfully passing the entry interview
