Cooperation of Saadi Foundation and Islamic Azad University, E-Campus to spread Persian language at the international level

With the aim of synergizing the national institutional capabilities to boost growth and development of Persian language education at an international level using technology and modern educational infrastructure, a meeting was held with the presence of the vice-presidents and managers of Islamic Azad University, E-Campus and the Saadi Foundation Campus.

Seyed Mohammad Sadat Akhavi, the International Vice President of Islamic Azad University, E-Campus, at the beginning of the meeting, presented a report about the latest status of E-campus in the field of education and technical and electronic systems and infrastructures of that university, as well as the capacities of IAU, E-campus that can accelerate growth of Persian language education in the world. He considered synergy in the field of Farsi language education for non-Persian speakers to be necessary and emphasized on providing specialized meetings with managers and experts of the Saadi Foundation in this field.

In this meeting, Dr. Zand Moghadam, Vice President of Education and Research at Saadi Foundation, while presenting the main duties and policies of the foundation in the field of Persian language education in the world, expressed the readiness of Saadi Foundation to cooperate with Islamic Azad University, especially in the field of virtual education of Persian language to non-Persian speakers.

Shahrouz Falahatpisheh, the vice president of international affairs at Saadi Foundation, mentioned the plans and potentials of extensive and applicable cooperation between Saadi Foundation and IAU, E-campus. He asserted that: The synergy between the two parties, especially in terms of the relative advantage of the abundance of foreign students, technical capacities and existing infrastructure in the IAU, E-campus, is a turning point in the institutionalization of a model of a constructive joint cooperation between the two institutions to promote the Persian language which can lead to strengthening of cultural relations between foreign students and the land of Iran.

Based on the agreements made at the end of this meeting, both parties expressed their interest in implementing this matter in the form of a practical plan, and it was decided to implement and present this plan in the shortest possible time span.
