Admission Scholarship in Teaching Persian to Speakers of Other Languages

About the scholarship:

With the aim of training young and talented non-Iranian teachers to teach the Persian language abroad, Saadi Foundation invites qualified applicants to receive scholarships.

Eligible applicants will study for the Master’s degree in the field of "Teaching Persian to Non-Persian Speakers". There will be a two-year program, including course units and a thesis. Accepted students will receive a "Type A" scholarship which is fully funded.

General Eligibility Requirements

1. Possessing a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields from  an  internationally recognized university:
   1. Persian Language and Literature
   2. Linguistics
   3. Foreign/Second Language Teaching
   4. International Relations
   5. Oriental Studies and Iranian Studies
2. Maximum age of 30 years
3. Obtaining a minimum score of 7 out of 9 in Persian Language Proficiency Test (AMFA exam)
4. Successfully passing the entry interview
