The twenty-second Persian language course was opened in Bosnia with the presence of Minister of Culture and Sport Canton Sarajevo and teachers and students.
According to the Public Relations of Saadi Foundation, the opening ceremony of the twenty-second Persian language course in the Cultural Center of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Bosnia and Herzegovina was held on September 15, 2016 in Farhadieh building with the presence of Mirvad Kurić, Minister of Culture and Sport Canton Sarajevo, Ali Asghar Ameri, Iranian cultural attaché in Bosnia, Janita Khavrych, the Head of East Studies Department in University of Sarajevo, Namir Kara Halilovic, a teacher of Persian Language and Literature Department in University of Sarajevo, and a group of people interested in Persian Language and Literature.
At the beginning of this opening ceremony, Ali Asghar Ameri, Iranian cultural attaché delivered speech and in a part of his speech he expressed hope that the training courses of Iranian Cultural Representative Office which are held with the contribution of Saadi Institute and the University of Sarajevo would enjoy higher quality.
In addition, in this opening ceremony Mirvad Kurić said: "It is hoped that the relations between the two countries in different fields, especially in the realm of culture and art be enhanced day-to-day and we will be able to attend other programs of the Cultural Center of the Islamic Republic of Iran such as Film Week and calligraphy and book exhibitions".
Minister of Culture and Sport Canton Sarajevo added: "In this training course 60 students have registered which shows the growing trend of interest in Bosnian young people to learn Persian language".
According to this report, at the end of this ceremony certificate for the end of Persian language course was donated by the Minister of Culture and Sport Canton Sarajevo and the teacher of the University of Sarajevo to the students of the previous Persian language training course.
