The ceremony of the last night of Autumn was held in overseas with the presence and performance of Iranian artists and by the support of Iranian cultural representatives.

According to the Public Relations saadi foundation, the ceremony was conducted with the cooperation of Cultural Cooperation Office, Iranians living outside the country and the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization in the following countries:

Austria

With the effort of the Islamic Republic of Iran Cultural Advisory in Austria and in cooperation with the Cultural Cooperation Office and Iranian Affairs living overseas, and the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, Yalda Night Celebration was conducted with the participation of a number of Iranian residents, Iranian students and Austrians interested in the culture of our country at the Place of the Ibn Sinai Hall in Iran Culture House.

The ceremony began with the Playing the National Anthem of the Islamic Republic of Iran and various programs such as Hafez reading, cultural competitions for children and adults, memorization, the performance of pieces of music and ... were implemented.

Also, a celebration was held in collaboration with the Vienna Farabi Training Complex in the conference hall of this school for students and parents.

Turkey (Ankara)

With the help of the Iran Cultural Advisory in Ankara and in cooperation with Cork University, the ancient Yalda ceremony was held for the Persian language students and professors.

At the ceremony, Adnan Kara Ismail Oghlova, head of the Persian language and literature department at the University of Cork, described the philosophy of the ancient ceremony and added: Yalda (the last day of Autumn) is one of the great ancient Iranian celebrations.

He told the reason for conducting the celebration by the ancient Iranians is the rebirth of the sun, adding that Yalda is the first night of winter and the night of the end of autumn and the longest night of the year.

The head of the Persian Language and Literature of the University considered that attention to national traditions and efforts to build solidarity and strengthen the foundation of the family as part of the teachings of this ancient celebration.

Following this ceremony, Persian language students read the poetry from Hafez performed a ceremony for Shahnameh.

Conducting ceremonies at the Persian Language Center of Ankara

Also, the ceremony was held with the presence of Reza Azizian, deputy of Iran cultural advisory, professors of the Persian Language and Literature training center, Language learners and a group of Persian culture and literature enthusiasts at the Persian Language Center of Ankara.

Ahmad Jaberi, director of the training center, said: the macro-social structure consists of four economic, political, social and cultural sub-sectors, which one of the most important issues in the cultural sub-sectors, is the issue of customs and traditions, and each of the customs and the tradition has historical- philosophical support.

He Described the features of this ancient tradition and added: "Yaldaʼs night, with a sociological view, has three functions at the micro, medium, and macro levels. At the micro level, it strengthens interpersonal relationships, at the medium level, the social solidarity of groups and peoples and, at the macro level, strengthens national cohesion.

Following the ceremony, Tahereh Mirzaei, a language teacher in this center, described the Yalda Night and Hafezʼs Fal for the participants in the Turkish Language.

The reading of Hafezʼs poetry and the Shahnameh books by the expedition artistic group from Iran were among other programs of the ceremony.

Shahnameh Reading ceremony

Shahnameh reading ceremony with the participation of Iranian students from 22 Bahman Complex was held at the Iranian Cultural advisory in Ankara.

At the ceremony, Pilehgar, Educational deputy of the complex, expressed some tips about the Iranian ancient ceremony and said: "Yalda is one of the great ancient Iranian festivals that is located on the last day of autumn.

Following this ceremony, Mojtaba Hassan Beigi and Abbas Salehi, our countryʼs artists, read the parts of Ferdowsiʼs Shahnameh for students.

Conducting ceremonies in Iranʼs Cultural Advisory

Also, a ceremony was held by the Iranian Cultural Advisory in Ankara and in cooperation with the Cultural Cooperation Office and Iranians living outside the country and the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, with Majid Akhavan performing at the site of this cultural representation.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Alireza Delkhosh, Deputy Ambassador of Iran in Ankara, read his poetry on the occasion of this ancient ceremony, and then a clip played about the history and introduction of the Yalda night, and the culture, values and traditions of this long night, for Participants of the ceremony.

Subsequently, Mojtaba Hassan Beigi and Abbas Salehi, the artists of our country, presented the scenes of traditional Iranian culture and art, and read Shahnameh, and the Hafez reading competition was held.

Yalda Celebration and Shahnameh reading with the presence of Ehsan Chichak, head of the University of Ankara, Hejabi Kirlanghich, Head of the Department of Persian Language and Literature Education, Reza Azizian, Deputy of Iranʼs Cultural Advisory and a group of professors and students with the effort of the University of Ankaraʼs Department of Language and Literature was held at Farabi Hall of this university.

Hejabi, head of the Persian Language and Literature department of the University of Ankara, described the philosophy of the ancient ceremony, and further, the Deputy of the Iranʼs Cultural Advisory in Ankara added: "Attention to minutes and seconds of life and to take advantage of all moments of life, part of the teachings of the greatest night of the year Based on Iranian calendar.

Azizian mentioned that the Iranian traditions help to preserve the family center and trying to keep up the calendar and consolidating the foundation of the family as part of the teachings of this ancient tradition.

The Deputy of Iranʼs Cultural Advisory in Ankara said that keeping traditions alive is an important part of the cultural identity of the communities and added: "We hope that one day, all nations of the world will live peacefully without war.

In the following of this ceremony, students of Persian language read the poetry of Hafez and welcomed the performing of the Shahnameh reading ceremonies.

Turkey (Erzurum)

With the support of the cultural affiliation of our country in Erzurum, the meeting of Iranian poetry and literature was held with the presence of the governor, the deputy mayor, the head of the Sa"adat Party of the Eastern Branch of Turkey, the head of the Faculty of Literature, the head of the Persian Language and Literature department, the professors and students of the Persian language, followers of Ahl al-Bayt Association in Erzurum, students and Iranian residents in Tabriz KPC.

In this meeting, Nemat Yildirim, the head of the Persian language and literature department in Erzurum University said about Yalda night, and poetry and literature in Iran: "In the culture of the people of Iran, the night of Yalda, the night of friendship, affection, and kindness.

Rahim Koshesh, expedition professor of Persian language and literature, read poetry from Iranʼs poets and expressed the Iranian customs on the night of Yalda.

Also, one of the Ashik of Tabriz, which was sent to the city of Erzurum by the Metropolitan Municipality of Tabriz to perform the traditional music program.

India (New Delhi)

Yalda celebration ceremony with the presence of Ambassador, representative of supreme leader in India, cultural advisor of Iran, other officials and staff of Iranian institutions, students and Iranians residents in New Delhi and their families (December 21th) was held in the conference hall of the Cultural advisory of the Islamic Republic of Iran in New Delhi.

The ceremony began with the reading of Kalam Allah Majid, and later, Hujjat al-Islam Seyed Mahmoud Mousavi emphasized on investing in science and language studies for better communication, especially in missions.

He further emphasized the need for greater interaction with family members, friends, and acquaintances to deepen friendships, and called national and religious occasions a good pretext for realizing this.

In continue, Hafez reading performed for a long tradition of Iranian in the night of Yalda by Ehsanullah Shokrollahi, head of the Persian Research Center of Iran in India, and two songs by the elementary school students of the Iranian Educational Complex in New Delhi.

Armenia

The ceremony of Yalda Night with the participation of Iranians and Armenians was held in cooperation with the Cultural Cooperation office and Iranians abroad, the Islamic Culture and Relation Organization in Yerevan.

The ceremony was begun by the Armenian schools" Persian language students performing the national anthems of Iran and Armenia, and then, Seyed Mohammad Reza Heidari, the cultural advisor of our country in Armenia, paid attention to the importance of Yalda"s night and Iranian attention to customs.

Mrs. Norouzi, an expedition professor from Tehran, talked about the history of Yalda"s night and the philosophy of this night, and the effect of the affection religion on the religion of Christianity.

After that, one of the students from Armenia school read Poems of Persian Poetry such as Hafez, Saadi, Molavi and some Iranian proverbs.

In the end, Hafez reading, beautiful Folk Music, and the Avaye Delshodegan Bandʼs Music performed traditional Iranian music.

France

The Yalda Night Celebration was held in Paris with the presence of a large number of Iranians and institutional staff at the Iranian Culture House in Paris.

The ceremony was begun with the reading of Kalam Allah Majid, and the information about of the role of Yaldaʼs night was expressed among members of Iranian families.

Ahmed Jalali, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in UNESCO, compared the two great Iranian poets, Saadi and Hafez, who considered these great people and celebrities as myths of Persian language. He introduced the survival and glory of Persian literature to the works and masterpieces of the poets and mystics of the land of Iran.

The music videos of Iranian cultural and customs traditions, Tehran film show, the performance of the traditional Iranian music band were other programs of the ceremony.

Malaysia

With the support of Iranian cultural advisory, Yalda Night Celebration was held along with Hafez reading and a traditional Iranian music clip with a presence of a Malaysian resident in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Ali Mohammad Sabeghi, Iranʼs cultural adviser in Malaysia, said: "The rich culture of Iran comes from the elements of humanity, morality, friendship, and companionship with nature, which celebrations of Nowruz and Yalda are among these symbols.

He added: "In addition to the religious ceremonies, ancient ceremonies have remained from past which including the night of Yalda, and the Iranian people in this ceremony transferred human and ethical stories to other generations throughout history, and this led to preserve Iranian culture with richness and dynamism.

Nasser Sarley, a professor of Persian literature in our country as the other speaker at the ceremony, talked about the Iranian traditions in the Calender, and the poetry contest was held from the Hafez Shirazi.

Belarus

With the support of the Cultural advisory of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Yalda Night Celebration was held with the participation of students, professors and Iranian residents at the center of the Iranian Studies and Persian Language of the Tarbiat Moallem University of Maxim Tankai, Belarus.

The ceremony began with the play of the national anthem of Iran and the poem of Hafez in two Persian and Russian languages by Ms. Neda Hassan Shali, professor of Persian language at the State University of Linguistics of Minsk.

Kadir Nikolayevich, the head of the Faculty of History at the Tarbiat Moallem University, expressed hope that such cultural and informative programs would continue in the Iranology Center of this university in cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran Cultural Advisory.

Abdul Majid Abolghasemi, administer of the cultural advisory of our country, said: "The holding of such ceremonies and acquaintances of Belarusian students with the rich Iranian culture and tradition will allow them to add their knowledge in the field of Iran studies in order to witness their flourishing and success at higher levels in the field of Iranology.

Mohammad Taheri, a professor of Persian language and literature talked about Hafez and his role in Iranian life.

The presentation of the article on the traditional instrument of Iran and the implementation of the cultural and artistic program by Reza Bahrami, a medical student of the Belarusian State Medical University, along with the introduction of local instruments in different parts of Iran, reading the bits from Hafez and awarding the participants were among the other programs of the ceremony.

Germany

The Yalda Night Celebration was held with the presence of Iranians residing at Iran Cultural advisory in Germany, and Khaleghi, the cultural advisor of our country, talked about the customs of Iranians.

The ceremoney continued by Hafez reading, Solo music, poetry reading in Persian and German.

Kazakhstan

The ceremony of "Yalda Night" was held with the presence of Consul General and members of the Consulate General of Iran, the staff of the Iranian School of Education, and several of the businessmen and students at the site of the cultural affiliation of Iran in Almaty.

At this ceremony, the Du"a Kumayl was read and Jalali Kiyasari, a cultural affiliate of our country in Almaty, read a Ghazal from the Diwan of Hafez Shirazi, and talked about happiness in the social life of human beings.

Samadi, a teacher at the Iranian School, also talked about Yaldaʼs values and beauty.

Mahdavi Nejad, another teacher of the Iranian Educational Complex in Almaty, read the Ghazal with passion and gave the happiness to the Iranians present in the ceremony.
