According to the Public Relations Office of saadi foundation, the ninety-second course in teaching Persian language and literature was conducted on 26th of December with the participation of Persian language learners and professors of the Persian language in the hall of the Center for Iranology Studies of the Islamic Republic of Iranʼs cultural advisory in Damascus.
Abolfazl Salehinia, Iranʼs cultural adviser in Damascus, said: Iranʼs cultural advisory is always trying to review and update Persian language courses in terms of methodology, books and instructors.
He emphasized the need for continuity in language learning and discipline for attending classes and the perseverance to learn.
Salehinia mentioned to the historical, religious, and cultural commonality of Iran and Arab, Salehinia added: "There are no two languages in the world, such as Persian and Arabic which link together.
Referring to the importance and position of the Persian language, he stated: "By learning any new language, the gate opens into a new world and by learning the Persian language, the gate of poetry, literary and mysticism will open to you."
After that, the graduation certificate was awarded to eight Persian language learners of Iranʼs cultural advisory who successfully completed all steps of courses of this cultural representation.
In continue, Ms. Fatemeh Safa, a professor of Persian language and literature from Tehran University and professor at Al-Baath University, addressed the mystical and human themes of Persian literature and poetry.
